Radiator Giveaway — Terms & Conditions

1. Who can enter

1.1 You must be 18 or over on the closing date.

1.2 You must be resident in the FY, PR or LA postcode areas. Entries from outside these areas cannot be accepted, and an entry found to be from outside them will be void whether or not it has already been drawn.

1.3 Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with this promotion may not enter.

1.4 One entry per person per platform. You may enter on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, giving a maximum of three entries. Multiple comments on the same platform count as one entry, however many you leave.

1.5 Entries made by an agent, a third party, a bulk-entry service, or an account created for the purpose of entering competitions will be void.

2. How to enter

2.1 Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. Nothing you buy from the Promoter, before or during the promotion, changes your chance of winning.

2.2 To enter, on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok:

• follow Ansdell Plumbing Supplies; and
• leave a comment on any of the Promoter’s posts about this giveaway, saying which room you would put the radiator in.

2.3 Both steps must be completed before the closing date. If you unfollow before the draw is made, your entry is void.

2.4 Tagging another person, sharing the post, liking the post and sharing to a story are not entry conditions and earn no additional entries. You are welcome to do them; they make no difference to the draw.

2.5 Your comment must be visible to the Promoter. The Promoter cannot count an entry it cannot see — for example one hidden by a platform’s own filters, or left on a private account.

2.6 Entries are collected from the comments on the Promoter’s own posts. The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, hidden or removed by the platform.

3. The prize

3.1 There is one prize and one winner:

• one Kartell K-Rad Laser Klassic 2-column horizontal radiator in white, 600mm high × 830mm wide, RRP £486 including VAT; and
• one pair of K-RAD Design angled radiator valves in matt black — a thermostatic valve (TRV) and a lockshield, product code BK-TRV301A.

3.1a The valves are shown in the promotional posts in matt black. The winner may instead choose any other finish or style of radiator valve pair the Promoter holds in stock at the time of the draw, of the same or lower retail value. The Promoter will ask the winner which they would like before the prize is sent.

3.2 The prize is delivered free of charge to the winner’s address within the FY, PR or LA postcode areas, at a date arranged with the winner. The winner may collect from the shop instead if they prefer.

3.3 Installation is not included. The prize is the radiator and valves only. Fitting a radiator is plumbing work and is the winner’s own responsibility, at their own cost. The Promoter does not arrange, supervise or accept responsibility for the installation.

3.4 The radiator carries the manufacturer’s own 5-year guarantee. The Promoter gives no guarantee beyond that, and the manufacturer’s guarantee will not cover faults arising from incorrect installation.

3.5 There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable or resaleable.

3.6 If the exact model of radiator or of valve becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute one of equal or greater specification.

4. The draw

4.1 All valid entries across all three platforms go into a single draw.

4.2 The winner will be drawn at random, by a computer process that produces verifiably random results, within 5 working days of the closing date.

4.3 The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

5. Telling the winner

5.1 The winner will be contacted within 5 working days of the draw, by a reply to their winning comment and by direct message on the platform they entered on.

5.2 The winner must reply within 14 days of first being contacted, and must be able to confirm they meet the conditions in clause 1, including an address in the FY, PR or LA postcode areas.

5.3 If the winner cannot be contacted, does not reply within 14 days, or does not meet the entry conditions, the Promoter may draw an alternative winner. The original winner then forfeits any right to the prize.

5.4 The prize will be delivered within 30 days of the winner confirming their details.

6. Publishing the result

6.1 The Promoter will announce that a valid draw took place and will publish the winner’s surname and county on its social media accounts.

6.2 The winner’s full name and address will not be published.

6.3 If you would rather your surname and county were not published, tell the Promoter when you are contacted and an alternative will be agreed. You will still receive the prize.

6.4 Anyone can request confirmation of the winner’s surname and county by writing to the Promoter at the shop address above within one month of the closing date.

7. Data

7.1 The Promoter will use the winner’s contact details and address only to arrange delivery of the prize and to administer this promotion.

7.2 Entrants’ details are not added to any marketing list as a result of entering, and are not sold or passed to anyone else.

7.3 Entry data is deleted within three months of the closing date, except where the Promoter must keep a record of the winner.

8. General

8.1 By entering, you accept these terms.

8.2 The Promoter may cancel, suspend or amend this promotion where circumstances outside its reasonable control make it necessary, and will not do so in a way that unfairly disadvantages anyone who has already entered.

8.3 The Promoter may disqualify any entry it reasonably believes breaches these terms, has been made fraudulently or by automated means, or which is abusive, offensive or unlawful.

8.4 Nothing in these terms limits the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or for fraud.

8.5 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

9. The platforms are not involved

9.1 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.) or TikTok.

9.2 By entering, you release Facebook, Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.) and TikTok completely from any and all liability in connection with this promotion.

9.3 Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter, not to any of those platforms.
